Our collective goal is to make the Egersund region an attractive place to work, live, and thrive. We cannot achieve this alone. We already face significant competition for labor. To ensure our region has sufficient workforce, we must participate in initiatives that attract people. Aker Solutions has recently secured new long-term contracts, and the project portfolio is substantial. We are currently recruiting new employees to strengthen our teams and prepare for future growth.

Berentsens Brygghus
In Egersund lies one of Norway’s oldest breweries and soft drink factories, and the oldest operating brewery in Rogaland. In 2018, we started a new Norwegian distillery, aiming to produce Norwegian whisky, Norwegian gin, and Norwegian aquavit. Berentsens Brygghus is an independent family business that has been crafting beverages since 1895, producing everything from balanced craft beer, refreshing soft drinks and apple juice, to well-known spirits like Fisherstorm, formerly known as Fisherman.

Bjerkreim kommune
The municipality has around 2800 inhabitants and is among the largest in Rogaland in terms of area. The residents are proud of and love their municipality, and there is a strong local engagement. Dalane Tverrfaglige Opplæringskontor
The Training Office in Dalane is an interdisciplinary training office. We are a collaborative body between the County Municipality and our member companies providing vocational training in the private and public sectors.
Our area of operation is primarily Dalane, but we also have member companies in Jæren and Agder.
Dalane videregående skole
Dalane Upper Secondary School offers a wide range of vocational and general studies subjects. With 700 student placements and 134 employees, we are the largest regional school in Rogaland.
The school is also an important regional player in further education through the Dalane Education Center.
Eigersund Næring og Havn
Eigersund Næring og Havn is the municipality’s contact point for the business community. If you are in a start-up or development phase, we are happy to have a chat with you about business establishment, grant schemes, and skills development initiatives.
The purpose of the enterprise is to ensure the municipality a competitive, environmentally friendly, and cohesive business development. This also includes the responsibility for developing efforts towards tourism and land development for both residential and commercial purposes.

Lund kommune
The municipal center in Lund municipality is Moi. There you’ll find primary and secondary schools, kindergarten, church, and sports facilities for indoor and outdoor activities. The municipality provides services in education, health, transportation/technical tasks, culture, leisure, business, and tourism.
Marine Technologies
Marine Technologies LLC is an American-owned company with offices in the USA and Egersund, developing and manufacturing dynamic positioning systems, integrated bridge systems, and satellite communication equipment for ships and rigs.
Product development is mainly managed and carried out in Egersund.
Marlink
Marlink is a global provider of communication solutions for the maritime, oil and gas industry, as well as other sectors requiring reliable communication in remote areas and operating beyond regular network coverage.
Marlink Eik Teleport is located in Hovsherad, a fifteen-minute drive from Moi in Lund municipality. The station is staffed around the clock, providing security for customers.

The NorDan Group is one of Scandinavia’s leading window and door manufacturers with approximately 2200 employees and a group turnover of 4 billion NOK.
In the Egersund region, NorDan has factories both in Egersund and Moi, where the headquarters are located.
NorDan also has its own apprenticeship school where it’s possible to start right after 10th grade.
Norgeshus Egersund
Norgeshus Egersund is a solid craft company located in our own premises in Årstaddalen in Egersund. We currently have 16 employees. We specialize in building architect-designed single-family houses, apartment projects, and small housing developments, as well as renovations and extensions. Our development areas are mainly in the municipalities of Eigersund, Sokndal, and Bjerkreim.
Norge Mineraler AS
A Norwegian-British natural resource company focusing on mineral exploration in Norway. The company’s mineral resource estimates confirm world-class deposits of the EU critical raw materials phosphate and vanadium, along with large quantities of titanium.
Responsible mineral extraction is at the core of our business model – in collaboration and constant communication with local communities.
Norrøn Bolig
Norrøn Bolig has over 25 years of experience and is one of the largest home builders in the region. We build everything from single-family houses, townhouses, apartments, and holiday homes to larger residential and cottage areas. In addition, we renovate and rehabilitate homes according to the customer’s wishes.
Norrøn Bolig consists of highly qualified employees, from skilled craftsmen with master’s certificates to solid expertise in project planning and housing advisory.
Rekefjord Stone
Rekefjord Stone has supplied Norway and Europe with high-quality stone for infrastructure and buildings since 1963. The company provides Europe with high-quality stone for infrastructure and building construction.
The quarry is conveniently located for stone transport, with around 600 ship arrivals per year.
Sig. Halvorsen
Sig. Halvorsen Egersund started as Perrongen Rør in Egersund 25 years ago and became part of the Sig. Halvorsen group in 1999. The department is managed by Sven-Erik Hetland and is located in Håndverkshuset in Årstaddalen, which has both a warehouse and a showroom. They have been located here since Håndverkshuset was completed in 2008.
Titania AS
One of Norway’s largest mining operations and among the world’s largest titanium mines: Titania.
We have approximately 240 employees and are owned by Kronos Worldwide, a leading producer of titanium dioxide with production units in Norway, Germany, Belgium, the USA, and Canada.
