Afterwork with Egersundregionen will take place on the second Thursday of every month.
may 8th: How do you use LinkedIn?
Time: Thursday May 8th at 18:30
Location: Kontoret, Strandgaten 76, Egersund
How’s your LinkedIn profile looking these days? Are you actually getting something out of it – or just being there?
On Thursday 8 May at 18:30, we’re hosting aftERwork at Kontoret in Egersund, where we’ll have an open, informal conversation about how to use LinkedIn more effectively – both personally and professionally.
Ann-Marie Gregersen (Visit Jæren) and Helene Holm (Egersundregionen) will share what has worked for them. You might leave with a few new ideas – and maybe a few new connections too.
Come as you are. Feel free to sign up below.
Schedule:
18:30 – Doors open, informal mingling
19:00 – Main conversation starts
Around 21:30 – Evening winds down…?
The event is free of charge and supported by Rogaland County Council.

Who is behind Afterwork, and what is it?
aftERwork is a new, recurring meetup for anyone curious about people, places and opportunities in the Dalane region. The concept is run by Egersundregionen, together with a new resource group made up of young adults from U37 Dalane.
Odin Moen, Mathushan Somalingam, Elin Herredsvela and Olivia Vestbøstad Støle form the core team, working closely with Helene Holm, general manager of Egersundregionen, to plan 12 events throughout the year.
The goal is to create informal activities and meeting points across all four municipalities in the region. Ideas include indoor climbing in Jøssingfjord, a photo walk to Eigerøy lighthouse, paint & sip, and speed networking. The key is to keep it low-key, social, and open for anyone who wants to connect.
aftERwork happens every second Thursday of the month – and everyone is welcome, whether you’re new to the region or have lived here all your life.
The event is free of charge and supported by Rogaland County Council.
